Health Information

Your wellbeing is my priority

Every Gather & Resonate experience is thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming space where you can pause, rest and reconnect with yourself.

Using the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes and a grounding drum, each session invites you to slow down, settle into the present moment and experience deep relaxation.

While crystal sound baths are suitable for many people, there are certain circumstances where they may not be appropriate.

Please take a moment to read the information below before booking or attending a session.

When a sound bath may not be suitable

Please get in touch before booking if any of the following apply:

  • You are pregnant.

  • You have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic medical device.

  • You wear hearing aids or have a cochlear implant.

  • You have epilepsy or a history of seizures.

  • You have certain heart conditions.

  • You have undergone surgery within the last three months.

  • You are currently receiving treatment for cancer or have recently completed treatment.

  • You have severe or unmanaged mental health conditions.

  • You are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

  • You have any other medical condition or health concern and are unsure whether a sound bath is suitable for you.

If you're ever unsure, I'd always encourage you to seek advice from your GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional before attending.

Participation is always voluntary, and you are responsible for deciding whether the experience is suitable for your own health and wellbeing.

What to expect

During a sound bath, you'll spend most of the session resting comfortably while being immersed in the soothing sounds and gentle vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes and a grounding drum.

Each instrument is carefully played to create a peaceful environment that encourages relaxation, stillness and mindful rest.

You are welcome to bring anything that helps you feel comfortable, such as a blanket, cushion or eye mask.

There is no right or wrong way to experience a sound bath. Some guests remain fully awake, while others drift into a deeply relaxed or meditative state.

Simply allow yourself to relax and receive the experience in whatever way feels right for you.

You are welcome to adjust your position or quietly leave the room at any time if needed.

If at any point during the session you experience discomfort or feel unwell, please let me know as soon as possible.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all.

Whether this is your first sound bath or you've attended many before, you're very welcome. There is nothing you need to prepare or achieve during the session. Simply arrive with an open mind, make yourself comfortable and allow yourself the opportunity to rest.

Before you arrive

To help you get the most from your experience, I recommend:

  • Arriving 10–15 minutes before the session begins.

  • Wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

  • Bringing water and anything that will help you feel cosy and supported, such as a blanket, cushion or eye mask.

  • Switching your phone or smart device to silent before the session begins.

  • Allowing yourself a few moments to settle before the session starts.

  • Late arrivals cannot be admitted once the session has begun, as this helps preserve a peaceful and uninterrupted experience for everyone attending.

After your crystal sound bath

Everyone's experience is unique.

Many guests leave feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed or more grounded. Others may notice temporary feelings of emotional release, increased tiredness or heightened awareness following the session. These responses are entirely personal and are usually short-lived.

Take your time returning to your day, stay hydrated and allow yourself a little space to rest and reflect if you can.

If you're driving home after your session, please take a few quiet moments before setting off. Everyone experiences a crystal sound bath differently, so only begin your journey when you feel fully alert, comfortable and ready to drive.

If you experience anything that concerns you following your session, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
